Step-1 Accessing the income tax portal

1.1: Open your preferred web browser.

1.2: Visit the official Income Tax Department website: www.incometax.gov.in

Step-2 Logging to the dashboard

2.1: Click on the "Login" button at the top-right corner.

2.2: Enter your pan number and Password to login/register on the income tax portal.

Step-3 Navigating to View Form 26AS

3.1: On the top left menu bar, navigate to e-File> Income tax return> View 26S option.

Step-4 Reading and Accepting the Disclaimer

4.1: After Selecting View Form 26AS, you’ll be redirected to the disclaimer page.

4.2: Carefully read the disclaimer and click on “Confirm” to proceed.

Step-5 Agreeing to Terms of Usage

5.1: On the TDS-CPC portal, read the terms of usage.

5.2: Click “Proceed” to continue.

Step-6 Viewing Tax Credit

6.1: Once you click on proceed, click ‘View Tax Credit (Form 26AS)’ option.

Step-7 Downloading Form 26AS

7.1: Select the Assessment Year and choose the "View As" format (select HTML for
viewing).

7.2: Click “View / Download” and choose to export the form as a PDF.
